Holga 120N

Image
Holga 120N ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I was fascinated the moment I picked up the Holga 120N. It is so light and I was intrigued by the simplicity of it! I wanted to see what I could do with it! I found research on Shoot it with Film, specifically relating to double exposure with the Holga 120N . I have always been interested in double exposure shooting with my digital camera and never even thought to do it with my 35mm camera. I am going to try it with my 35mm camera, but I am also going to try it with the Holga 120N.  Some shots I tried: From the angle of my stomach Double exposure without changing to next frame Multiple exposures in different positions while moving to next frame The Results: << BeYou.BeTrue. Unique Perspective

Unique Perspective ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The original photo shown below was created in Print Media with a press and the story is as follows: ** The eye represents our perspective on the world. There is an area that is covered with straight lines, which represent the logic and straight forward aspect in life.  Ultimately, this image represents RADICAL ACCEPTANCE. In order to accept "what is" we need to be able to process and accept what we think, feel, and see within us. I took a picture of this print with my camera and them used the outline I made for the photomontage to create and unique perspectives, using the dark room and enlarger.  This can r...

PhotoMontage, Take 2

Image
PhotoMontage 2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Preparation  I needed to refresh the brain, so I utilized a iso400 roll of film and went in on the weekend to develop it. I used a new to me film camera, and quickly learned that I overexposed majority of my shots. But, this is partly why I wanted to get ahead start! Refresh the brain, and learn this camera! --------------The Supplies and Layout --------------- The intention is for the body to be completely black and the brain to have images within it. The heart is intended to stay white and the paper background may have a very faded image of another project  created in Print Media, relating to radical acceptance.  ---------------The Process & Outcome-------------- The FIRST Process: **aperture at 8** Step 1: Cover everything but the brain. Step 2: Use multiple images to create the montage within the brain. Each one on for 3 s...
