Seeing Through a Viewfinder
Seeing Through a Viewfinder: Sequence
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the sequence assignment, I grabbed a pair of boots, I took my camera, and went out for a walk. I had no real plan of what I wanted to capture. It had just snowed, and it was beautiful in the light. I wanted to create a sequence that spoke to that.

It had just snowed, and and the snow was so beautiful in the light. I wanted to create a sequence that captured what I saw. I am a creative at heart, always, and find meaning when no one else can. I am a conceptual artist, and this spoke to me that day. I was proud and happy it worked out, because it meant a lot in the moment.
It was quite sunny, mid day so I did not need to use as low of a shutter speed and I could use a smaller aperture (f11).
Image (bottom): BLURRY ABSTRACT
This was the process of dragging black paint on canvas. It was all handheld, so there is camera shake definitely involved. It was not intended to be blurry, but then when I developed it, I LOVED the feel and potential it had! I wanted to also include it, because it holds a lot of meaning, and because I am proud of it.
This was indoors, so I had to use a lower shutter speed, which did not help with the camera shake! I did not use a tripod, which I would probably try to use in the future. So used to my digital camera, I forget how film cameras operate much slower sometimes!
I would love to hear your thoughts and feedback on these images!
