Karl takes detailed, close up pictures. I appreciate the fine detail im his pictures, and how he captures the details we do not always see with the human eye. By segregating the object with macro shots and simple backgrounds, in majority of his work, it brings out so much interpreted meaning.. even in a simple object. It creates a space for interpretation and discussion, especially when exploring the macro world. I love macro photography myself, and am practicing fine details like Karl's. It is beautiful work, with amazing contrast and small details.
