Stephen Shore_Form and Pressure Article/Essay ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There is an article/essay by Stephen Shore, called "Form and Pressure" Summary of reading: It is about an image he took in Los Angeles, at the intersection of Beverly Boulevard and La Brea Avenue, in 1971. His efforts were in exploration of visual structure, and greater structural complexity. Stephen says structure helps our perception and view of a specific image/object/etc. He shot the same intersection the next day without applying structure principles that he had the day prior. He wanted to communicate the experience he was having, what he was seeing right in front of him.
